Wendel Kos is the project name of one of the biggest upcoming producers from Europe. There is no dance radioshow, festival, rave or club that has not played one, some or all of his tracks. He has been in charts all over the globe and if you haven't heard of him.....you will.

Ewout Wendel Kos (1975) was born in Utrecht, (Holland) and started to play the piano from the age of 7. So you could say he has a musical background. As with all youngsters, the piano got bored pretty soon and Wendel looked in the more alternative side (and in those days underground side) of music, to for fill his musical needs: house music was born!
We are talking mid 80's here, where everybody was still in love with WHAM....

Of course, for a twelve year old it's pretty hard to get your first record out, so it took him another 8 years, until the age of 20, before his first ever EP was released.

From this time on life has been one big party for him, with highlights at the infamous Dance Valley festivals and Heineken Music Hall,with live performances under various names, projects and aliases. After another decade of being 100% underground and 1000% poor, Wendel decided to take yet another drastic turn in life. So here we are...
2008...

Nobody knows why, but somehow things fell together. Wendel got a daughter that gave him different responsibility and that reflected in his music. Also, and this is the most important thing that happened to Wendel for his carreer : He found someone, or in this case a company, who believed in his sound and finally saw the possibilities and the talent in Wendel's music production.

This company is called Fektive Music, where Wendel has his home now.
From here together they have accomplished great things in just a short period of time (since January 2008!)
Wendel Kos reached top spots in Europe and even a #1 position in the USA Billboard chart, did remixes for half the globe and made sure every station on the planet played the Wendel Kos tunes!
