Squash 84 is a production unit formed by two finnish producers Matti Heininen and Erkka Lempiäinen, who have been involved in music production for well over a decade. A refined sound is their trademark when the main principal has always been to combine high quality production with high quality compositions.. Squash 84 is also known as Komytea.

Since 2009, the guys have been running a label , simply called, Komytea Records. The main aim is to provide an independent platform from which to release their own productions, but also to bring forward unique hidden talents.

Even though Matti and Erkka had begun their co-operation already back in 1998, the name Komytea was given birth in 2005 in form of some remixes. In January 2007 came out hugely successful first original release, Soldiers Of Karkadu E.P from german label Laka. Now after a multitude of original releases and remixes, Squash 84 and Komytea have a reliable foothold on the progressive house scene.

Theei sound is heavily supported by the leading dj's around the globe, Laurent Garnier, Deadmau5, Tocadisco, Armin Van Buuren, Desyn Masiello, Hernan Cattaneo, Eric Prydz, Chris Lake, Above and Beyond and Markus Schulz to name a few.
