Carlo Calabro was born in Poland on the 6th of March 1986. Carlo is not his real name, but Kamil Kwiatkowski for some is a nightmare to pronounce, let alone remember. But Carlo has a bright future ahead of him. Certainly if you know that he has only been actively been producing for 2 years now. It all started after hearing sets from Armin Van Buuren & San in his hometown in Poland.

So far he has had releases on the Micro Digital label in Greece and has done two remixes for Christian Records. A few months ago San got a hold of one of Carlo’s unfinished productions and decided to give Carlo a chance and helped him to sign a deal with Dutch label Fektive Records. Just recently Carlo became part of the Fektive family.

His first assignment was to remix the peak time monster track by The Fearless called San Salvador. Which was supported 3 weeks on a row by Judge Jules on Radio 1, featured on the A State of Trance show by Armin van Buuren as well as 3 times on the Global DJ Broadcast show by Markus Schulz.

Now it’s time for Carlo’s first solo E.P. which is just released on the brand new label called DEEP END, part of the Fektive label Group. The release is called Pushing the Bar, since Carlo never settles for less. His music is as energetic as he is, it’s music with a progressive/ elektro feel to it with a retro touch. Keep an eye out for this young talent, he’s only just started yet!
