Based West is a new underground-minded dance project from The Netherlands. Although Based West is a new project, the producers behind this project aren't new to the scene at all.

Thymen Holleman & Cyril Helwig are from an early age involved in and surrounded by music. Commencing the decade of Old Skool house music in the late 80-ies they knew they wanted to be a part of the evolution of electronic dance music.

So far they had releases with Quarck & DJ San, Solid Sessions and Helwig & Holleman. Their tracks appeared on several labels i.e. Positiva, Alphabet City , Additive and were picked up by many DJ's including Pete Tong, Sasha, Deep Dish, Jimmy van M, Armin van Buuren and many more.

Based West covers different genres, from deep house to energetic techhouse, but with an own BW flavour. Go check it out !
